Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Contact information you provide, such as email address, phone number, social handle, or support messages.
- Communications you send to us, including emails, direct messages, SMS/MMS messages, and support requests.
- Public social interactions with TCG Stock Watch accounts, such as follows, likes, replies, mentions, reposts, comments, and public profile information made available by the platform.
- Website and server information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and basic security logs.
- Alert workflow information, such as seller names, product names, listing URLs, prices, availability observations, review decisions, and source attribution.
- Subscription and messaging-preference information, including consent metadata, alert preferences, and delivery settings.
We do not intentionally collect payment card information in the current version.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate TCG Stock Watch accounts, websites, and alert workflows
- manage subscriptions and secure the service
- receive and respond to messages
- process inbound SMS/MMS alert-program replies, HELP requests, opt-out requests, and support messages
- publish and audit social alerts
- detect spam, abuse, fraud, duplicate alerts, stale listings, or suspicious sellers
- maintain logs needed for security, debugging, compliance, and operational review
- measure content quality and channel performance
SMS And Mobile Information
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
We may share mobile information with service providers that help us operate messaging, alert delivery, support, security, and compliance workflows. Those providers may only use the information to provide services to us.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to operate the product, including:
- hosting and DNS providers
- email providers
- Telnyx for phone number, SMS, MMS, voice, and alert-delivery services
- social platforms such as X, Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- analytics or logging tools, if enabled later
- source-data providers and seller websites linked from alerts
When you interact with third-party platforms or seller websites, their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Social Platform And API Data
If we use social platform APIs, we will use platform data only for the purposes disclosed in this policy and needed to operate TCG Stock Watch.
If we use Google or YouTube APIs, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements where applicable. We will request only permissions needed for implemented features.
If we use X, Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, or other platform APIs, we will respect applicable API limits, deletion/update requirements, and user-data restrictions.
Seller And Product Data
TCG Stock Watch may collect and store information about product listings, sellers, source URLs, prices, availability, and review decisions. This information is used to generate reproducible alerts and audit why a post was or was not published.
We do not treat raw scraped URLs as publishable facts without review, normalization, and source attribution.
Cookies And Analytics
The current planning site may not use analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics, pixels, affiliate tracking, or advertising tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are enabled.
Data Sharing
We may share information:
- with service providers that help operate the site, email, SMS, hosting, security, logging, and publishing workflows
- with social platforms when publishing content or using their APIs
- with legal, safety, or compliance recipients when required by law or needed to protect TCG Stock Watch, users, or the public
- as part of a business transfer, merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate protections
We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for operational, security, legal, audit, and product-quality purposes.
